News about Jody -- A key figure in our group, as well as Edinburgh's Buddhist and Inter-Faith communities, has passed away. Our
dear friend Jody Higgs died peacefully on 3 February in Edinburgh.
A memorial service will be held at the Harnham monastery on 6 April to inter Jody's ashes. Additionally, the Edinburgh Inter Faith Association is planning a memorial/celebration of Jody's life and
her many contributions to the Buddhist and other communities.
Special Dana -- A very special dana will be held at the home of Peter & Melanie on 6 Sept. Please join us for this day when Ajahn Abhinando will offer a blessing for the union of these hearts.
Monastic visit -- Scheduled visits by monastics through the autumn 2008 are 10 Jul, 4 Sept, 6 Nov and 4 Dec.
